Letter: A letter from J. D. Croan to Walter P. Temple, Sr., 31 December 1922, in condolence on the death of Laura Temple. Croan was the secretary of the board of trustees for the Temple School (formerly the La Puente School), which was renamed for the Temple family in 1921, when Walter Temple donated a flag pole. The New Temple School is at another location in South El Monte in the Valle Lindo School District. Written on Temple School letterhead. Principal Emma B. Eby also sent a condolence letter (96.35.2). From the Thomas Temple Collection, donated by Ruth Ann Michaelis. In fair condition with some creases, folds (in half and thirds), and a stain on a fold at the right side. None
