Temple, Silao, Mexico, 16 Ocober 1894. On the back is more information about this insurance company. Written in ink by Walter P. Temple on the left side of the envelope's front is "Freight Bill / Mexico." The receipt is in fair condition with the upper left corner missing; ink stains on front and back; creases; and discoloration; In good condition, the envelope has some creases; small acid stains, especially on the flap; and two small ink marks, also on the flap. There is also some light discoloration.
