A studio portrait of John and Christina Price by Stephen Rendall, Los Angeles, ca. 1870. The view shows the couple in full view standing in front of a plain backdrop. The two lived in the Green Meadow area of Los Angeles near today's Main Street and Manchester Boulevard. On the reverse is a pencil inscription identifying the two and noting that Price died "with Henry Fogal [Fogle]." The Fogles owned the 40-acre parcel adjacent to the south of the Prices. With some soiling, a few stains and edge rubbing, the item's condition is good overall.
