A black and white studio photograph (possible carte de visite or CDV) of John Rowland, ca. 1860. Rowland is shown standing in a parlor scene with a curtain at right and his right hand resting on the back of a parlor chair. Rowland wears a dark vested suit, trousers, tie, and shoes with a white shirt. The photo is in fair condition, though it is difficult to tell because it is sealed in a heavy paper matte. There appears to be a photographer's studio name at the bottom of the matte but it is cut off with only ". . .des" visible.
