Description
JOHN WALLIS AND WALTER P. TEMPLE, JR. WITH DRAWING OF AGNES TEMPLE
Color: Brown
A copy of a color polaroid photograph of John Wallis and Walter P. Temple, Jr. with a drawing of Agnes Temple for a La Casa Nueva stained glass window reproduction, 11 April 1980. The two men flank, with Temple on the left and Wallis on the right, the drawing, which is attached to a plywood wall in Wallis' studio. The drawing was done on white paper with a charcoal pencil and was to be the visual model for the reproduction of the window. On the reverse in black ink is the inscription "Temple Mansion / Stained glass window / "working drawing" of Agnes / Temple / Walter Temple Jr. (brother) / on left John Wallis (artist) / on right / photo by archt 4-11-80 / at Wallis' studio." Below this, covered by a piece of tape, is the stamp of restoration architect Raymond Girvigian with his name, address, and telephone number. In good condition, the artifact shows little indication of wear or damage.
