A wedding announcement (a) with sheet (b) and envelope (c) from Mr. and Mrs. Joseph C. Vorbeck to Walter P. Temple, 1928, announcing the marriage of Arvella Vorbeck to Charles P. Temple, Jr. The announcement, folded in half, is on plain white cardstock. On the inner section is a bordered space for the announcement text. The envelope is also plain white cardstock. The sheet is a very thin paper with five-pointed floral designs. Charles P. Temple, Jr. was the son of Walter Temple's brother, Charles and the date for the wedding was given as 20 October 1928 and location as Los Angeles. The announcement is in fair condition with several stains on both sides, particularly the back, and there is some discoloration. The sheet is creased and is fragile. The envelope, addressed to "Mr. Walter P. Temple" in blue ink is in poor condition with heavy discoloration and an acid stain with the flap torn at right and a corner of the flap bent.
