Description
Journal of the Sixth Session of the Senate of the State of California for 1855, published by the State Printing Office, Sacramento, 1856. The journal recorded the daily proceedings of the legislative body from about the beginning of the year until May 7 and includes an index. The title page and first eight pages, which would include formalities, such as determining session president and other offices, are missing, as are the boards and flypages. The remaining pages are fairly firmly attached to the binding, but are soiled, stained, and creased, and the condition is poor.
