Description

Color: White A crocheted doily with an eight-pointed star design, ca. 1900, believed to have been made by Lucille C. Workman [Buehler Montenegro], daughter of Joseph and Josephine Belt Workman. Each of the points has an open work section with more tightly knit areas closer to the center, forming sixteen points. There is a two-row open work section inside of these 16 points and then a solid piece of fabric 12" in diameter at the center. There are some loose threads, but otherwise the piece is in good condition.
