Description

KODAK HAWK-EYE FOLDING CARTRIDGE CAMERA, NO. 2A Color: Black; Silver A Kodak Hawk-Eye Folding Cartridge No. 2A camera, 1929. The item has a pebbled faux-leather finish with rounded edges at the ends. The front has a door that opens with the use of a silver metal lever at the lower left, revealing the shutter and lens standard, which are then drawn out of the case along two rails. To the right of the door is the lock for the film loading compartment. At the upper portion of the camera is the handle and the winding key. On the lower left of the reverse end of the lens standard door is the "red window" which allows for viewing the number of exposures available. At the center of this side is an embossed stamp with instructions to use a certain type of film for this camera, which makes larger size prints than the No. 2. Also included in this accession is the owner's manual and two-part case. With only light rubbing to the metal pieces, there are no notable signs of wear and damage and the camera is in good condition.
