Description

Color: Black; Blue; Yellow; White "Kodaks and Kodak Supplies," a 64-page catalog issued by the Eastman Kodak Company, 1928. The front cover has a colored photograph of a woman standing next to a wood rail fence with her right arm resting on a rail and a camera case in her hand. A bunch of white daisies are on the rail and the woman wears a yellow cloche hat with a band and a blue jacket, white skirt and tie. On the back cover is an advertisement for Kodak film and a statement about buying authentic Kodak products. Below this, printed at the bottom, is "Holden Drug Co. / North West Cor. Weber and Sutter / STOCKTON, CALIF." At the front are statements about "Modern Kodaks," the Eastman Kodak name, "Kodakery" magazine (examples of which are items 2.1 and 2.2) and the company's Service Department. Following are the products offered, including pocket Kodak and Kodak cameras, including a panoramic model; home movie cameras, projectors and film; Brownie cameras; shutters; lenses; filters; printing and developing products; papers; camera backs; film; tools and supplies; albums; mounts; tripods; and lamps. There are many photographs and engraved illustrations of products in the catalog, which has dogeared corners; creases and wear to the covers and some dogeared pages, but is otherwise in good condition.
