Description

Needle Book: Six packages of sewing needles in a paper horseshoe-shaped cover, manufactured by the Kressant company in Germany, ca. 1920s. The front cover has the company name and logo on the edge with a color image of four women seated at a table under a red umbrella in a garden with flowers. The back cover shows a woman and two girls sewing in a home. On the inside, five of the six packages still have their labels with the needles varying in sizes. Most of the needles are still in the package with about a third missing. There is an art-deco like design on the inside cover. Donated by George Wheatley. In good condition with some discoloration and edge wear on the cover. None
