Color: Black; White
A photograph of the courtyard of La Casa Nueva from the south, ca. 1932. At the center is the fountain with gourds, sea shells, a vase, and a metate and grindstone on the larger or lower millstone. At right is a portion of the portico on the east side of the courtyard. In the background is much of the north portico with its arches and, above on the second floor, most of the balcony area. At the upper right are the first two bays of the second floor dormitory, recently enclosing the patio the Temples located there. In the foreground are some plantings near the fountain. The photograph has a crinkled edge and there is a rectangular piece with two holes for mounting into a paper album, which is item 49.2. In good condition overall, the item has only minor reverse discoloration and paper bowing.
