Description

Color: Black; White A negative of the La Casa Nueva area from a field to the southwest, while the building is under construction, ca. 1924. The view shows the upper portion of the roof, pillars for the second floor patios, and Library chimney, but the house is largely obscured by the south end of the Mission Walkway. Some of the evergreen trees planted along Evergreen Lane, which runs across the image, are planted. There seem to be a few trees in the foreground, but also some wood planks and, possibly, adobe fragments. Aside from some damage to the edges, which do not affect the image, except for the left center edge, the artifact is in good condition. Number-Units: 1
