LA CASA NUEVA COURTYARD EAST PORTICO FROM THE SECOND FLOOR WEST WING PATIO Color: Black; White A negative of the east portico La Casa Nueva courtyard from the second floor west wing patio, ca. 1928. The view shows such features as the top of the fountain, in the foreground; the flagstone walkway east of the fountain and on the portico; some of the planter bed to the left, including banana palm trees; objects in the portico, including chairs, one with a sarape over the back, potted plants on stands and on the floor, and bowls. At the far upper left corner is part of the baluster and rail for the balcony and at the top is the tiled roof overhanging the portico. Above this are the tiled shelves for the second floor patio.
