Description

LA CASA NUEVA COURTYARD FROM THE SECOND FLOOR WEST WING PATIO Color: Black; White A negative of the La Casa Nueva courtyard from the second floor west wing patio, ca. 1928. The view shows the area from the fountain north, with notable aspects including the planter area with an adobe planter and several banana palm trees; the balcony which has plants and what may be a clay figurine at the eastern end and a broom against the stair rail, next to the stained glass triptych window; carved animal heads on protruding beams beneath the balcony; a very small section of the second floor east patio with plants near the steps from the balcony; the roof for the main block of the building, including solar panels; and sections of the tiled overhanging roofs over the first floor porticos. With some non-intrusive darkening to the left and right edges, there is otherwise no damage or wear and the artifact is in good condition. Number-Units: 1
