La Casa Nueva Courtyard from the south, ca. 1928. The view is from atop the Mission Walkway and takes in the fountain, the tall banana palms behind it, other landscaping, the balcony, a portion of the second floor sun decks, the solar panels on the roof, and a woman, perhaps Maud Bassity, walking toward the kitchen near the fountain. Some glare from the original exposure is present at the upper right. As this print was made from the original negative, it is mint.
