Description

LA CASA NUEVA COURTYARD FROM THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE MISSION WALKWAY, CA. 1925 A black and white reproduction photograph of the La Casa Nueva Courtyard from the south end of the Mission Walkway, ca. 1925. The house has roof tile and the walls appear to have rough plaster. The only landscaping is a thin tree at center. The fountain has not yet been installed and the balcony is partially finished, though the triptych window does not appear to be installed. The solar panels are visible on the main roof section and there is a ladder and bucket seen on the east portico and a pile of flagstone fragments to the left of the courtyard. From a negative owned by Ruth Ann Michaelis. Number-Units: 1
