Description

Color: Black; White A negative of the La Casa Nueva courtyard, ca. 1928. The photographer stood at the west side of the fountain, which is at the lower right. Banana palms are in the planter between the fountain and the main block of the house, of which is the balcony, some of the protruding beams, on which are carved heads of Temple family pets, a couple of arches at the first floor, and sections of the stairs and rail. At the upper right is a section of the second floor east wing patio, with potted palm trees and other plants on the balcony near the steps to the patio and on the patio itself. One pillar and a beam are notable, as well. A section of the first floor portico roof and the portico are at the right. Other than non-intrusive, or minimally intrusive, darkened areas at the bottom edge, there is no wear or damage and the artifact is in good condition. Number-Units: 1
