Description

Color: Black; White A negative of the La Casa Nueva courtyard, ca. 1928. The photographer stood at the east side of the fountain, which is at the lower left. Banana palms are in the planter between the fountain and the main block of the house, of which is the balcony, some of the protruding beams, on which are carved heads of Temple family pets, a couple of arches at the first floor, and the open door to the Main Hall. At the upper left is a section of the second floor west wing patio, with potted palm trees and other plants on the balcony near the steps to the patio and on the patio itself. One pillar and a beam are notable, as well. A section of the first floor portico roof and the portico are at the left. Other than minimally intrusive darkened areas at the right side of the top and bottom edges, there is no wear and damage and the artifact is in good condition. Number-Units: 1
