Color: Black; White
A black and white photograph of the La Casa Nueva courtyard under construction, ca. 1924, by Albert J. Kopec. Standing just to the south and east, Kopec photographed the courtyard area. Much of the basic structure is finished, including the tile roofing on the main roof, and the installation of solar panels there, and the tile roof over the courtyard porticos. The adobe columns for the second floor patios are in, but not plastered, while the courtyard portico columns are nearly all finished and plastered, except for those at the end, where the wood supports at the top of the columns and for the arch are showing. None of the flagstone walks are in nor is there a fountain or any other improvements to the courtyard ground. Piles of lumber and construction refuse cover the ground. On the reverse upper left is a stamp reading "Kopec / L.A." With the lower left corner torn and a few stains on the reverse, the item is in fair condition.
