Color: Black; White
A negative of the west portico of the La Casa Nueva courtyard from adjacent to the fountain, ca. 1928. The view shows the section from the Housekeeper's Bedroom to the Guestroom, the doors of which are in view. Also of note is the light sconce next to the Housekeeper's Bedroom door, portions of the tile insets over the Guest Bathroom door and Guestroom door; the fountain at the lower right; a section of the second floor patio and the portico roof at the top and top right; and a number of objects in the portico. These include rocking chairs, a birdcage stand and potted plant on a table by the Housekeeper's Bedroom; a potted plant on a stand by the Guest Bathroom door; and a cattle brand hanging from a beam between the Guest Bathroom and Guestroom doors. Other than non-intrusive darkened areas at the top and bottom edges, there is no wear and damage and the artifact is in good condition.
