Color: Black; White
A black and white reproduction photograph of La Casa Nueva's east elevation looking south, ca. 1928. The two-story adobe home is at the right with much of the east side, from the Master Bedroom and Living Room to the east wing second floor patio, clearly visible. The structure has such architectural elements as a tile roof; wood and iron balconies; screen doors; arched windows and doors; and iron light fixtures. On the wall, near the bottom right, is part of the plaque which was installed in memory of Laura Temple. A garden with many bushes, flowers, and palm trees is at the left. One large palm is also at the left near the back. Behind it is part of the Mission Walkway, which is partly hidden by the vegetation. Written in blue pencil on the top left corner of the back is, "RALPH & CAROL TEMPLE COLLECTION / LCN - EAST ELEVATION / LOOKING SOUTH." Negatives to the images in the accession are .2.1-.10. The artifact is in good condition with no signs of wear or damage.
