LA CASA NUEVA EAST SIDE EXTERIOR FROM THE MASTER BEDROOM BALCONY
Color: Black; White
A black and white negative of La Casa Nueva's east side exterior from the Master Bedroom balcony, ca. 1928. The view is east side of the balcony looking south. Part of the balcony, the balcony of the room of Walter, Jr., the horizontal posts on the east second floor patio, the 18th-century San Gabriel Mission palm tree planted next to the southeast corner of the house and, at the background left, the top of the auditorium roof, are notable features. The roofline and portions of the windows and French doors for the Master Bedroom, adjacent bathroom, and Walter, Jr.'s rooms are also at the far right. Aside from very minor darkening on the edges, not affecting the image, there is no wear or damage and the artifact is in good condition.
