LA CASA NUEVA FROM NORTH DRIVEWAYEntry/Object ID

Color: Black; White
A black and white photograph of La Casa Nueva from the north driveway, ca. 1941-42. The photographer stood on the driveway just north of the Workman House, looking to the southwest. The driveway curves toward the south and on the west side of the road, behind landscaping, including palm trees, bushes, and shrubs is La Casa Nueva, with part of the tile roof, walls, and master bedroom balcony discernible. More bushes, shrubs and trees are along the driveway on the right and larger sycamores, firs and palms are visible near La Casa Nueva. On the left is a curving lawn and sidewalk, as well as parts of large trees, at the front of the Workman House, which is out of view. On the reverse left edge is a pencil inscription reading "117% / 2A / Terri [?]" and, in the center, a penciled number "25." At the lower right in ink is "+31-120 / 23-145 [with the number two being in pencil.]" There is a noticeable crease in the left edge and some kind of fingerprint at that spot; the upper right corner is creased, so that artifact is in fair condition.
