Description

Color: Black; White A negative of La Casa Nueva from the field to the northwest, ca. 1927. The front and much of the west elevation are visible over the garden wall, though the northern part of the Mission Walkway at the right obscures much of the west side. At the left is part of the west elevation of the Workman House over the La Casa Nueva garden wall. Several palm trees, at the front of La Casa Nueva, and lining the driveway that circles the home to the north and west, and one tree, perhaps a walnut, in the field, are notable. The rest of the field in the foreground is plowed. There are some black exposed areas at the bottom edge, but these do not affect the image quality, which is similar to, but slightly different than 2000.272.1.6 and 2002.89.50.13. With little evidence of wear or damage, the condition is good. Number-Units: 1
