La Casa Nueva from the southeast, ca. 1924. The view is from the Center Driveway fro about where the Glorieta is today. Part of the Mission Walkway is constructured, mainly the lower walls. As to the house, rough plastering is on the walls, plywood sheeting laid on the roof, and door and window openings do not appear to have much finish work in them. A few trees, palms and evergreens, are planted along the drive next to the Mission Walkway walls. As this print was made from the original negative, it is mint.
