Color: Black; White
A photograph of La Casa Nueva as seen from the field to the west, ca. 1932. The top of the house is visible over the grapevine-covered Mission Walkway with some landscaping along the driveway that followed the walkway. Around the house are three palm trees, one in front, another on the West Lawn, and the third being the historic San Gabriel palm on the southwest corner. The top of the Tepee is at the right and behind it is the top of the Water Tower. The field in the foreground is bare and smooth, though it once had walnut trees planted there. The photograph has a crinkled edge and there is a rectangular piece with two holes for mounting into a paper album, which is item 49.2. In good condition overall, the item has only minor reverse discoloration and paper bowing.
