Color: Black; White
A black and white reproduction photograph of La Casa Nueva's front door, ca. 1920s, taken in 1995. The screen door is at the center and has six-pointed star and sextagon designs. Around the door is decorative plasterwork. A Spanish royal crest is at the top of the plasterwork. Also at the top is part of a balcony and iron railing of the Main Hall's second floor. Two small arched windows flank the screen door and do not appear to have stained glass in them. Above the windows is an iron light fixture. The flagstone porch floor is across the front. On the floor at the front of the door is a mat and at the left and right of this are potted plants. Part of the porch's low wall is at the far left and right of the foreground. On the wall at the right is a plaster grape and vine design. Written in blue pencil on the top left corner of the back is, "Ralph / Carol Temple Collection / May 1995 / North side of La Casa Nueva." Contact sheets for the image are items .35-37 with the negatives being items .2.1-.17. The artifact has no visible signs of damage or wear and is therefore in good condition.
