A black and white photograph of the La Casa Nueva Main Hall front door from the Living Room, ca. 1942. The door, at center, is opened and part of the carving, as well as the handle and lock box, is visible. At left is the west side arched window with a small vase on the seat, though the window cannot be seen. Over the window is a wall sconce. At the lower left, along the baseboard, are some of the Mexican tiles. At the foreground right is part of the open door to the Living Room and a switchplate with the heater controls is on the wall next to the door. On the center reverse is the pencil inscription "32," while at the upper right is the pencil inscription, "#16." Aside from some light discoloration, the artifact is in good condition.
