Color: Black; White
A black and white negative of La Casa Nueva's front entrance, ca. 1928. The view is from the walkway just below the stairs leading to the patio at the front of the house. At the center is the door and carved plaster surround. Flanking the door are two wall sconces and arched windows. On the patio floor just beyond the door surround are two circular shaped bushes in fluted pots. At the top is the lower portion of the grille work and balcony on the second floor. A floormat, some of the flagstone walk and small portions of the low patio wall with decorative carvings of grapevines are also of note. The view is nearly identical to that of item 50.37, with only the slightest of changes in position and a darker exposure. The artifact is in good condition with no signs of wear or damage.
