LA CASA NUEVA FRONT FROM THE EAST PART OF THE FRONT WALL
Color: Black; White
A black and white photograph of the front of La Casa Nueva as seen from the eastern side of the front wall, ca. 1941-42. Part of the front elevation of the home is seen, including, from left to right, part of the master bedroom balcony; part of the front door and upstairs balcony; and the french doors of the Music Room and windows to the Music Practice room and Thomas' room. In the foreground is a lawn with one adobe planter and a variety of plantings, including bushes, shrubs, and cypress trees. The wall is in the immediate foregound. On the reverse center is the penciled inscription "38." Other than very light discoloration, there are no discernible signs of wear or damage and the artifact is in good condition.
