Description
LA CASA NUEVA FRONT FROM THE ENCLOSURE WALL TO THE NORTHEAST
Color: Black; White
A black and white negative of La Casa Nueva's front entrance taken from the enclosure wall to the northeast, ca. 1926. The view is from near a section of wall removed for vehicle access. Other than the section of the front entrance, with the plaster door surround and second floor balcony and grille completed, which are seen through the wall gap, most of what is visible is at the second floor level. The roof is tiled, the chimney completed, and the Master Bedroom balcony in the early stages of construction. Yucca trees and the palm in front of the house are also of note. The artifact is in good condition with darkened areas on the edge, but only slightly intruding onto the image at the bottom.
