Description
LA CASA NUEVA FRONT FROM THE ENCLOSURE WALL TO THE NORTHWEST
Color: Black; White
A black and white negative of La Casa Nueva's front entrance taken from the enclosure wall to the northwest, ca. 1927. The view is from just behind the wall, which is in the foreground. Much of the front elevation is visible, although some of the lower sections are obscured by the wall. Construction on the home looks nearly completed, although some covered material is on the patio and a wooden ladder is set up to the right of the front door. The trunk of the palm tree in front of the house, the very top of the palm at the southeast corner, and a yucca planted near the northeastern part of the building are also of note. In good condition, the item has darkened areas on the edge, but not intruding onto the image.
