Description
LA CASA NUEVA LIBRARY EAST BOOKCASE AFTER CLEANING
Color: Brown
A color polaroid photograph of the La Casa Nueva Library east bookcase after cleaning, but before staining, 29 November [1979.] The photographer stood directly in front of the case and it is much cleaner than image .882 and the books which were indiscriminately piled upon the three shelves are better organized. An unidentified object, perhaps a tool used in the cleaning, rests on the shelf at the top of the case. At the bottom is a portion of the floor, which appears to be covered by a dark-colored tarp or cover. Part of the white wall is around the bookcase, but there are little notable features other than the bookcase. A pencil inscription at the bottom of the artifact reads "Nov. 29 - Cabinet Cleaned & / Prepared For Stain." In good condition, the object shows little indication of wear or damage.
