LA CASA NUEVA LIBRARY, SOUTHWEST CORNER, CA. 1927
Color: Black; White
A negative of the southwest corner of the Library in La Casa Nueva, ca. 1927. Pictured from left to right are: part of a table with a sarape covering the top, with a magazine rack next to it, a leather chair, metal floor lamp, ottoman, and, in the corner, a parlor stand with vases, books, and a framed mirror or picture. On the wall are partially visible framed pictures or photos and a light sconce with flame-shaped bulb. A large floor rug, with what appears to be floral designs, is seen. The image, which is poorly focused, was taken from the archway from the music room. A print developed from this negative is 96.12.1.2. With little evidence of wear or damage, the artifact is in good condition.
