LA CASA NUEVA LIVING ROOM CHRISTMAS DECORATION
Color: Black; White
A black and white photograph of Christmas decorations in the Living Room of La Casa Nueva, taken by Carol Crilly, December 1982. This image is a slightly different view from taken in items .1042-.1044. A Christmas tree, fully decorated with tinsel, popcorn strings and ornaments and having presents at its base is in the center near the fireplace, which is at left. This has Christmas decorations, consisting mainly of greens on the wooden mantel. Also notable are some of the historic tiles around the opening. In the foreground is a coffee table with a bowl of popcorn, a partially completed popcorn string and a pipe in an ashtray. Other furnishings in the room include a mirror over the fireplace at upper left; a small section of a sofa at lower right; and several of the carved wood corbels in the ceiling at the top. On the reverse is a stamp reading "This paper manufactured / by Kodak. / JAN 83 SSD" with parts of two other stamps at two edges. With little or no indication of wear or damage, the print is in good condition.
