Color: Black; White
A black and white photograph, with two duplicates, of the southeastern corner of the Main Hall in La Casa Nueva, by Carol Crilly, December 1982. Crilly stood near the door to the Music Room, capturing the following elements of the room. At lower left are the tall case clock, a chair and a side table. At the lower center is the door the Courtyard and, above the door, on the landing is most of the triptych stained glass window, though the lighting did not permit a clear view of the window. To the right of the Courtyard door is part of a buffet, standing next to the stairs. Some of the tiles on the stair risers near the first landing are clearly visible and there are garland and ribbons on the rail as part of the museum's Christmas decoration. At the upper right is a portion of the underside of the second floor landing with parts of two of the corbels under this landing very clear. At the upper left is most of the chandelier with part of the eastern second floor landing visible behind it. On the reverse is a stamp reading "This paper manufactured / by Kodak. / JAN 83 SSD" in two places with part of a third stamp at one edge. The original image shows more light from the flash, especially at the right, than the duplicates, which were adjusted in processing to filter the flash out. With little or no indication of wear or damage, the print is in good condition.
