Description

Color: Black; White A black and white negative of La Casa Nueva's north side from the east, ca. 1925. The view is taken from near the northeast corner, with the house at the left. Notable is the dedication plaque, open French door screens, the partially completed Master Bedroom balcony at the upper left, the plastered and carved patio wall, and a yucca tree planted next to the house. At the right is the base of a palm tree, sections of the enclosure wall at the front of the building and construction debris in the undeveloped yard area at the front. There is some damage at the left center edge and right edge and some darkening at the right edge, minimally affecting the image, but the artifact is in good condition. Number-Units: 1
