Description

LA CASA NUEVA NORTHEAST CORNER FROM THE ADJACENT YARD AREA TO THE EAST Color: Black; White A black and white negative of La Casa Nueva's northeast corner from the adjoining yard area to the east, ca. 1928. The house is to the left with just the very corner of the first floor in view, while above is some of the Master Bedroom balcony. Notable, however, is a beam end at the north end of the balcony, on which is a carved animal, possibly an owl, which is not extant. At the center is a tall palm tree in front of the house and yucca trees closer to the house. There appear to be smaller trees around the palm and other landscaping in the area. Aside from very minor darkening on the right edges, minimally affecting the image, there is no wear or damage and the artifact is in good condition. Number-Units: 1
