Description

Color: Brown A color polaroid photograph of the resetting of bolts for an earthquake seismic strip in La Casa, 5 October [1979.] The focus is on the corner of an unidentified room on the second floor, where the wood baseboard was removed and the strip appears to be on the wall to the left. The wood floor has a dark brown colored substance, perhaps an adhesive or remnant of a floor covering on it. But, other than part of the unrestored plaster wall, there are no other notable features to the image. An inscription in blue ink at the bottom of the artifact reads "Oct 5 Resetting Bolts / At Sesismic Bar Temple." With little indication of wear or damage, the object is in good condition.
