LA CASA NUEVA VIEWED FROM THE FIELD TO THE WEST, CA. 1927.
Color: Black; White
A black and white negative of La Casa Nueva viewed from the field to the west, ca. 1927. The home appears completed and the Tepee is at right. Landscaping includes the grape vines on the arbor, bushes along the outside of the mission walkway wall and palm trees along the driveway. Three large palm trees, one in front of the home at left, one behind the home at center, and one in the field at right, which is furrowed in preparation for planting. The roof of the Workman House is barely seen at far left. This is a copy negative and the original negative is owned by Ruth Ann Michaelis. Being newly created, the artifact is in mint condition.
