Color: Black; White
A black and white photograph of the west lawn of La Casa Nueva as seen from near the Tepee, ca. 1941-42. Part of the west elevation of the home is seen, including, from left to right, the trellis work outside the music room with a lowering vine on it; windows to various rooms; the enclosed second story dormitory on the wings and bushes and shrubs between the house and an adjacent sidewalk. At the far right is a part of the wall and one window of the Tepee. Toward the center and left is the lawn, with one adobe planter visible. In the foreground, around the Tepee and where the photographer stood are trunks of palm trees and some small bushes and shrubs. Other than very light discoloration and one vertical stain at the reverse lower edge, there are no discernible signs of wear or damage and the artifact is in good condition.
