Description

LA CASA NUEVA'S COURTYARD IN CONSTRUCTION FROM THE SOUTHEAST Color: Black; White A negative of La Casa Nueva's courtyard area under construction, from the southeast, ca. 1925. The home's roofing tile is laid, although debris on the section over the west portico indicates the work may still have been in progress. There is also much debris on the porticos and in the area around the courtyard, in which there is a large mound of dirt where the fountain later was installed. There appears to be some coverings on the second floor patio pillars prior to the installation of the beams that spanned the pillars. Also of note is the solar panels on the main roof. There is some damage, outside the image, at the left edge and some darkening at the right edge, also not affecting the image, so the overall condition is good. Number-Units: 1
