A real photo postcard of La Vida Mineral Springs Cafe and Bath House, Carbon Canyon, Brea, California, postmarked 26 September 1928. The image shows the front facade of the two-story structure, which has a large wood balcony or projecting cover. Also notable are the raised basement, widening concrete steps and a walkway leading to a pedestrian bridge in the foreground. On the reverse is a message discussing treatment for what is assumed to be correspondent's husband at the mineral baths offered at the resort. There is also a stamp, postmark and cancellation. With edge rubbing and some soiling, the overall condition is good.
