Description
The lake and surrounding landscape at Hollenbeck Park, Boyle Heights, Los Angeles, 1920. The photographer stood on a sidewalk at one end of the lake with the Sixth Street bridge crossing the body of water in the distance and a structure (perhaps the boathouse) further off in the background. Large trees, bushes and what look to be pruned roses are also of note. The latter indicate a winter date. On the reverse is an ink inscription reading, "Hollenbeck Park 1920." With little evidence of wear, the condition is good.
