Description

Color: Black; White A copy of a black and white photograph with duplicate of Laura and Walter Temple, 10 October 1919. A studio portrait by George Steckel, the image shows Laura Temple standing at left wearing a dark-colored dress and wearing a string of pearls around her neck and a brooch at the front of her dress. She has her left arm around the shoulders of her husband, who sits in a tall armchair, posed as if reading an open book on his lap. He wears a light-colored striped suit, white shirt, striped tie and has a pin in his left lapel. Because of the dark background, little else of note is in the image. On the reverse of both copies is an inscription in dark ink by a former museum curator reading "Laura and Walter Temple / Source - [donor's name withheld]." With little indidcation of wear or damage, the object is in good condition. Number-Units: 2
