Description
A law book, "Laws of the State of California, passed at the second session of the legislature, begun on the sixth day of January, 1851, and ended on the first day of May, 1851, at the Pueblo de San Jose." A leather bound book detailing laws and statutes regarding the court system and procedures. It also includes statements on laws passed in the courts, such as name changes, search warrants and city incorporations. The book is in poor condition, cracked spine, detached cover boards, abraded leather throughout but the textblock is in good condition, information is intact.
