"Leaving Camp Rincon," San Gabriel Mountains, about March 1916. The image shows about a half-dozen persons and four horses gathered outside a frame building with another structure in the background behind an oak tree. At the bottom margin is the inscription "Leaving Camp Rincon." This camp was located at the west fork of the San Gabriel River fourteen miles above Azusa before the floods of 1938 destroyed the site, where a USFS fire station is now located. With some album paper residue on the reverse, the condition is good.
