LECTURE NOTES FOR THOMAS W. TEMPLE II, 18 APRIL 1971
Four pages of lecture notes by Thomas W. Temple II for a presentation made at Rancho Los Cerritos in Long Beach, 18 April 1971. The first page is a typed two-paragraph introduction for the exhibition of paintings by Walter P. Temple, Jr. The second page is a handwritten list of the paintings exhibited. The third page is a rough series of notes on aspects of the Workman and Temple family history, including the Workman House; Rancho La Merced; St. Nicholas' Chapel; La Casa Nueva; the Walter P. Temple Memorial Mausoleum; and Walter Temple, Jr.'s paintings. The last page is a photocopy of a photograph with text below it of the first La Puente post office, 1887. The pages are stapled together at the upper left corner. A paper clip was removed, leaving rust stains on the first page. The condition is good with folds, creases on the first page and a tear on the lower left edge of the fourth page. None.
