The work eight contains stories "founded on legends" of the Soboba Indians of Riverside County, excepting one entry from Indians who lived near Merced in central California. There are illustrations to the work, which has some heavy water damage, spine deterioration, bumped corners and worn edges to the covers and water stains on pages, so the condition is fair.
